LOCAL BUSINESS OWNERS RECEIVE UPDATE ABOUT WESTBURY’S REVITALIZATION GRANT
Westbury Mayor, Peter J. Cavallaro, addressed a group of small business owners and entrepreneurs at the well-attended seminar sponsored by TD Bank and Westbury-based Long Island Development Corporation. Attendees received an update on Westbury’s 10 million dollar Revitalization Grant and learned how it would affect local businesses and their community.
A presentation was also given by the new Executive Director, Westbury Business Improvement District (BID) – Tom Verni, showcasing the advantages of working and living in Westbury. Representing TD Bank, Scott Horowitz, Frank Frisone and Ryan Koutsogiannis spoke about TD Bank’s banking services and how business owners might find funding to participate in the upcoming changes.
Speaking on small business resources, low-cost loans and procurement technical support was Roz Goldmacher and Gina Slater Parker of Long Island Development and Long Island Small Business Assistance Corp.
The event took place in the Community Room of the Westbury Memorial Library.
