The Board of Directors generally meets on the 4th Tuesday of every month (except for December), at 7pm at Village Hall and may hold additional meetings as necessary. The Executive Committee and other appointed committees meet between board meetings and make reports at the monthly Board of Director meetings. Business and property owners wishing to attend the monthly board meetings are invited to RSVP here.

What area does the Westbury BID cover?
Geographically, the Westbury BID encompasses Post Avenue between the Northern State Parkway and Old Country Road. Additionally, some of the intersecting side streets with commercial activity are included.
Who is part of the Westbury BID?
Every property owner and every commercial tenant within the BID boundaries is considered a voting member of the Westbury District Management Association, Inc. (DMA). The BID is managed by DMA under the By-Laws adopted by its Board of Directors. The By-Laws provide for three classes of Directors: Property Owners (A), Commercial Tenants (B), and Village Appointees (C); who are representatives appointed by the Village.
The Board of Directors and its Officers serve voluntarily, without remuneration.
A part-time Executive Director is employed by the BID and has the responsibility of managing the DMA and overseeing the day-to-day operations under the direction of the board with assistance from board members, committees, and volunteers from the community.
How is the Westbury BID funded?
The Westbury BID is funded through a special assessment of the properties within its boundaries. The assessment is collected by the Incorporated Village of Westbury, which funds the BID to provide programs and services to benefit its membership. Contracts are awarded through Requests for Proposals (RFP) to the most qualified bidder, and when possible, one within the BID. An annual budget is prepared by the Executive Committee and voted on by the Board of Directors. The BID financial records are kept by the Treasurer of the BID and compiled by a Certified Public Accountant who produces periodic financial statements. Interim reports are presented at each board meeting by the Treasurer.
The BID makes every effort to keep its mailing list current. Members are notified of annual meetings, nomination procedures, and elections by mail, and by Legal Notice in the Westbury Times. Business and property owners are encouraged to sign up for email notifications to stay informed about meetings, events, and other important information.
The BID strongly encourages all businesses and property owners to get as involved as much as possible and welcomes all feedback and suggestions.
